Next Wednesday the 28th July I propose taking a few members of my department over the field to give them a go at Powerkiting and following it up with a BBQ. Any one else available and wish to come please do so.
Start about 1600 flying and BBQ 1800 or when we get hungry.

Well it proved a great success! [At least in my unbiased opinion].
Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and a good BBQ to boot.
Must do it again in August.

Well had a cracking afternoon on the water, went out in a Wayfairer, got it up on the plane, main was reefed in as well, think it was blowing 20 -25 mp/h, shot up the river to the roach and back.......

Hey this is a kiting forum unless.... they have come out with a new water kite the Wayfairer!!!

Hey it's still out flying of sorts, and we were... flying (along) just a different type of kite, and I'm out doing it,,,,,, hey Mr Chick, when we getting out again then?????
